The bay breeze that wisps its way through the towering trees over Sodus Bay Heights pays homage to the legends who have gone before and experienced one of New York’s greatest golf courses. Robert Trent Jones grew up here, and the very ground you walk is what inspired young Jones to become a world-renowned golf architect.

Dress Code
We ask that both Men & Women wear a tucked in Collared Sports Shirt or Mock Turtle Neck Shirt accompanied by either Golf Slacks or Golf Shorts. Golf headwear is to be worn in a forward fashion. We ask that you refrain from wearing T-Shirts, Athletic/Exercise Apparel/Tank Tops, Denim, and Cutoff Shorts.

PGA Professional
Mr. Andrew Smith
Mr. Andrew Smith has over a decade of experience in the golf industry and has been the head golf professional at SBHGC since January 2020. Prior to that he was the head golf professional at Ridgemont Country Club in Rochester, NY. Among his accomplishments at Ridgemont CC was expanding the junior program, increasing participation in events, growing a couples golf league, & running one of the area's best merchandising operations.
A PGA of America member, Andrew also spent time here at Sodus as an assistant working under David Jones from 2007-2012.
