Friends of Sodus Bay Heights
Dear Member,
We are fortunate to belong to a club with a long and well deserved reputation as one of the best golf courses in
upstate New York. In this competitive environment, enhancing the condition and appearance of SBHGC is
necessary to maintain this reputation, and will undoubtedly serve the membership and the club as well, both short
and long term.
In this spirit, we are pleased to introduce the FRIENDS OF SODUS BAY HEIGHTS gift fund. Its mission is to
annually fund specific projects which will enhance the condition of our golf course for the enjoyment of our
members, their families and guests. One hundred percent of every dollar donated will be invested in improving
the condition and beauty of the course (with no additional cost to the membership.) Specific projects will be
identified on an annual basis by the Board of Directors with special input from a committee created solely to oversee
the beautification initiatives.
The first project is coming along nicely and should be completed sometime this summer. We are sure you will be impressed with the final result.
A committee has been established and will be holding the first of many meetings this spring. It will be their responsibility to review suggestions for future projects. We are excited to keep this important program moving forward. The following individuals will be representing the inaugural “Friends of Sodus Bay Heights” committee.

We will again be looking to you, the members, for support in future endeavors. Please feel free to offer your thoughts and suggestions to the committee and it will be reviewed. All ideas will be discussed before a final
recommendation is presented to the Board of Directors. Please check your newsletters and emails as to the status of
the committee’s progress.
